I had her and my dad read the manual and quick setup guide, and told them to install it when ready. Both were eager to take a hand at it running through the setup wizard and getting the IP address. Since they have no hardware firewall on the hub things were easy. They run Zone Alarm on the computer instead. By the way, everyone
that saw and had a chance to try out the i2Eye commented on very cool
it looks and how innocuous it is on top of your television. This is
not some big ugly box that distracts from your favorite 52-inch TV monitor,
or in a business environment either. It is hardly noticeable in fact.
If you are running a hardware firewall on your router/hub or wireless router/hub, you might have problems getting your broadband assigned IP address. If you do, don’t hesitate to call the D-Link tech support line at 1-800-93-i2eye (1-800-934-2393) or email them at support@i-2-eye.com. Whether you’re PC or Mac oriented, or neither but just need a little help setting up, they are very very good. |

If my parents are any measure of the vast potential market, then the DVC-1000 i2Eye should be a big hit because they loved using it. They found it easy to set up, make calls and it added a new fun technological aspect to their life. Even my Dad, who still has problems with VCR's and DVD players, loved using it. They're thinking Christmas presents for the rest of our immediate family The
