In
tests conducted in TechTV Labs, image quality was quite good for this
price point, and we've seen far less consistent color and sharpness
on higher-priced LCDs. We tested the panel at its native resolution
(1024x768) with a variety of photo screens. A high-resolution photo
of a flower bouquet looked vividly fresh, with crisp, deep reds and
lush lavenders. A series of pure color panels (magenta, blue, yellow,
black) didn't reveal any dead pixels or splotches. |

The
EN-7100e is an affordable 17-inch LCD. It doesn't boast many bells and
whistles, but if you're stretched for cash and need or want an LCD, this
is a fine choice. The company offers a low-cost 15-inch model too, branded
under the AOC moniker, for $379. It's also one of the cheapest prices
out there. |
